Dr. Tiffany Scandrett was born and raised in Macon, Georgia and is the proud wife to her husband, Erroll, and mother to her daughters D’Erroll, Jada, Erin, and Erica Joy. She has been practicing in the field of Speech-Language Pathology for over 22 years, currently serving as the owner and lead Speech Language Pathologist of Communication Dynamics Pediatric Therapy. Scandrett received both her Bachelor and Master’s degrees from Valdosta State University in Education of Speech Language Pathology. She has also earned an Educational Specialist degree and a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Argosy University-Sarasota.
As an advocate for early intervention, she and her staff serve to educate and promote early language development for Middle Georgia families and preschool organizations such as Head Starts. Dr. Scandrett is also an approved Bright from the Start Trainer where she provided continuing education training to daycare and early childhood professionals for licensure requirements.She is a member of several councils and organizations including: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., American Speech Hearing Association, the National Black Association for Speech and Hearing, the Medical Advisory Council for Therapy Network of Georgia, National Organization of Sisters in Speech Therapy and Audiology, Inc., and the Health Advisory Council for Macon-Bibb EOCI Head Start and Middle Georgia Action Agency. More recently, she became a founding member of S.I.S.T.A.s (Sisters in Speech Therapy and Audiology) of Middle Georgia where she is committed to the mentorship and scholarship of young professionals in her field. Dr. Scandrett is also an active member of Bibb Mt. Zion Baptist Church serving as the Co-Leader of the Women’s Ministry and a Teacher for Christian Education with a mission to spread God’s word and the process of salvation and discipleship to all she meets.
